Campaign Story
Hello potential donors. I am trying to help my parents fulfill a dream and retire. I have been trying very hard to launch a business that will help supplement their Social Security income.
The business tha I have been working on is a liquidation store. I buy truckloads of new and returned goods from a number of different stores. We inspect the goods and seperate them into A,B and C stock. A Stock is new product, B stock is returned goods that are in excellent condition and C stock is well worn or broken items. I then price the item at 40-75% off the retail price. I have been able to make a little money on the side doing this, but to really make it work I need to lease a building. I have found the perfect location on the main highway in our town. It will lease for $4950/month. I have looked into utilities, employee costs, insurance, build out of the store and product. It will take a minimum of $50,000 to get started and function for 90 days without profit. I have no doubt that this will be a successful business. Everyone is looking for a good deal these days. Just one example of the items that I have available to me is ceiling fans. I can sell new fans for half of retail and still make 300% profit.
I really would like to help my parents retire. They deserve it. My father is a disabled veteran and my mother was just diagnosed with Lupus. Anything will help. Thank you in advance.
