Lily’s Guatemala Mission Trip

Hi everyone! This summer I have an amazing opportunity to go on a missions trip with some others from my church to Guatemala from June 7-16. I have prayed long and hard about this trip and decided that it would be a great experience. For this trip we are going with an organization called Pray America. They are all about sharing the gospel through words and works to the Mayan people of Chichicastenango. Some of the projects we may be doing would be construction of new homes, installing water filtration systems, remolding homes, doing discipleship with the staff and local people, building bathrooms or installing effiecent wood stoves. All together I need to raise $2000 to cover my travel, lodging and supporting one child in a feeding program of one year.

Will you support me in prayer? I am praying that God will open my heart and help me to become a better missionary wherever he takes me. I also pray that he will help open my eyes and help give me a renewed compassion for people and hope from Jesus Christ and the gospel.
