The current unemployment rate in South Africa is alarming, the hopelessness seeps into every area of our lives. Pensioners in SA currently receive a Sassa grant for R1800 per month, while the average grocery bill for essential items is around R2900 per month, this leaves a big gap in their financial stability. I want to be a part of the solution in creating a brighter future for SA by providing pensioners the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills in a mentorship program, with unemployed women to teach them skills which they can use in order to be self-employed.
- Create a mentorship program, in a supportive environment to impart skills that can be used to generate income
- Provide an income for pensioners and food parcels for the needy
- Give hope to people who feel neglected and forgotten by society, give them a purpose! Ease the hopelessness
