Support Ibrahim in attending NVC-workshop in UK

Ibrahim is a young Ghanaian Youth Activist, a Social Change Trainer & Facilitator and the Initiator of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in Ghana.

Ibrahim first contact with NVC was in 2013 in Switzerland at an International Intensive Training (IIT) were he got introduced to NVC. Ibrahim quoted “I was touched and moved and I asked myself how come for such a long time I never heard of NVC and there is also nothing of such in my country Ghana’’.

He further stated “Haven also realized the power of NVC in helping shape certain cultural and communication patterns in the Ghanaian society, I took it upon myself to share this beautiful and life-enriching language back home”. There the dream of bringing NVC to Ghana came to been. Not only did I had a dream but I made a commitment to realizing the dream.

From 2013 – 2017, Ibrahim worked towards achieving his NVC dream for Ghana and in February 2018, the First Ever Public NVC Workshop was held in Ghana for four (4) days with 70 participants across Ghana and other African countries such as South Sudan, Tanzania, Cameroon and Sierra Leone with Trainers from Kenya and Germany.

In the workshop, NVC–Ghana Network was established. The first ever Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Network or Organization to be established in Ghana with the overall aim of spreading NVC in Ghana.

Ibrahim, as the Initiator, Founder, Director of NVC – Ghana Network, point of contact and reference of NVC in Ghana, he has a big responsibility to sustaining the Network and the achievements of its aims and objectives.
