Donation to support the Yawanawa Tribe,

In The Amazon Rainforest

I dream of a world in harmony with nature, and the people in the world would live in harmony and love. The Yawanawa tribe living deep in the jungle of the Amazon rainforest are living like that, I feel we can learn a lot from that. So instead of like what the big companies and government are doing destroying and taking down forest and villages/homes in the forest, I dream of starting 2019 giving back by raising $6.000 for the Yawanawa tribe who have a very special space in my heart. The money is going 100% to the Yawanawa tribe. If we don’t reach the goal the money will still go to the tribe – to food, new boats and to the daily life which can be tuff in the jungle. The western world is already getting really close and thinks like close, flashlights, boats , food, petrol to generator and motor, for electricity and so on are already there.

Yawanawa is a native tribe living deep in the Amazon rainforest. The Yawanawa tribe hold a very special space in my heart. After 3 visits deep in the jungle, I feel a big connection and friendship with the tribe. I have been discovering many deep places inside my self and found into my heart and love. Love for the people and there land for the beautiful forest and the animal life. The tribe has been opening up my eyes for new ways to see life and how to live life. I am forever thankful and grateful for the Yawanawa tribe.

The way the western world have been treating the tribe, the Rubber Barons and after that, the Missionaries almost kill the tribe and their tradition, and the tribe almost disappeared with under 100 Yawanawa left. All tradition was more or less forgotten only a few elders have been holding their tradition inside there heart. Today the tribe is recovering with around 1200 people in 9 different villages in the rainforest of the Amazon. Some of the old ancient traditions are coming back, and the young one is studying plant medicine and there old ancient traditions

The forest is getting smaller and smaller because of all the logging we are doing for cow fields and soy production. The soil is not recovering when the ecosystem from the trees are gone, so after 3 years they clear new area of the forest for cow fields. And with the new government, it doesn't look like there is any bettering on its way. The Amazon is the lung of the earth, and to be honest – I really like to be able to breathe, how about you? Let's give something back and show the Yawanawa and the native that there are forces out here, there is caring for the forest and the people living in there. There is a lot of wisdom to transfer between indigenous people and the western world, lets empowering indigenous people to thrive as natural guardians of the environment. It is time to give back instead of taking and destroying, and I don’t think we can count on our government anymore, it is time to show the indigenous and the forest that we care. And what better way to do that by giving back. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger says – If not now, when – If not me, who?

I don’t feel I can wait till somebody starts doing something and I don’t count on the people that are supposed to take care of the land and environment. So ask your self what can I do – I did that and this is one thing I can do.

My Mіѕѕіоn

My name is Søren Blok a world citizen a dreamer. Dreaming of a world in harmony full of love and care for the nature and people living here. Dreaming of another way of living than the way we have choose to live today. I have been living another life style than the one I got told growing up in Denmark, because I believe that there is another way to live. We don’t have to destroy the nature and kill so many people.

I have many dreams and one of them is to give back to nature and the people living there. You can see more about me on www.liveyourdream.me

This is a nonprofit fоundеd to рrоtесt thе rаіnfоrеѕt аnd аdvаnсе thе rights of indigenous реорlеѕ іn Yawanawa village.

My Goal: $6.000

Note: 100% of the collected money is going to the Yawanawa tribe. If we don’t reach the goal, the money we have received will still go to food, boats, petrol for the generator and motor boats, to the school and the daily life in the tribe. Please help every little amount will make a difference.

Thank you!
