Campaign Story
My name is Lazaro Edward and I'm the founder of Kilimanjaro Orphanage Centre., a non-profit organization helping orphanage children in Kilimanjaro and nearby societies(www.kilimanjaroorphanagecentre.org). The aim of this project is to raise money to send our orphaned kids to school and to buying the school supplies. Many of these kids have lost their parents to AIDS and have no one to take care of them. Some come from very poor backgrounds and their parents cannot afford to feed them nor send them to school.
The purpose of this campaign is to raise money to send our orphaned kids to school. Photos of these kids are our official website:www.kilimanjaroorphanagecentre.org under "home" page.
Money raised will fund everything the orphan needs to attend school and perform to the best of his/her abilities:
- a quality education;
- sufficient school supplies and a school uniform;
- participation in extra-curricular activities, including athletics.

I visited in 2015. I loved how hard the staff works. The kids were lovely and sang to us.
