Campaign Story
Singapore Weightlifting Athlete, John Cheah, 26, personal trainer and coach at Crossfit Tanjong Pagar, wishes to be able to train full-time and attend overseas training camp to prepare for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia from the 4th to 15th April 2018.
To win in the Weightlifting competition requires the athlete's
- single minded focus on training
- disciplines to drive beyond the pains and fatigue
- never give up attitude and
- in the most defining moments overcome the fear of losing and get back up in pursuing the dream and winning the medal. Like the story of our former Silver Olympic Medal winner, Mr. Tan Howe Liang.

You can support our Singapore Weightlifting Athlete in fulfilling his dream of winning the Medal at the Commonwealth Games by donating and contributing to this GoGetFunding campaign.
You will also enjoy 2.5 times tax deduction of your cash donations (if you live in Singapore) to Singapore Weightlifting Federation (UEN No.T01SS0015J) which is a registered Charity organization (https://www.charities.gov.sg) and approved IPC (Institute of a Public Character) from 1/1/2015.
