Lift her Up! Acrobat Baby

This is Christine Marcuap Andal.

This photograph was taken in Quezon Province, Philippines where Christine and her family lived. She is diagnosed with Bronchopneumonia, high risk, Pulmonary arterial Hypertension Congenital heart disease and down’s syndrome.

This little angel has 3 siblings , 2 brothers (both stopped studying- Joshua a high school undergraduate , Patrick the eldest is a high school graduate who is unemployed) and one little sister named Princess (5 years old).

Christine is 1 yr. old only . Her mother Melinda Marcuap Andal (my father’s sister, my aunt) and father Victorino Andal are jobless. They rely on crops being harvested in their backyard since they are living in Mount Banahaw. His father gets extra income by cutting grasses , sowing and harvesting others’ land and crops .

Christine has to be on a by-pass heart surgery, since she is under PWD some processes might be covered. Still reality is that everything will not be paid, the medicines, the transportation, daily maintenance of Cristine’s health and more, since Health Center is too far away from their place in emergency cases they were forced to have her confined in nearby hospitals and incurred debts. My aunt cried a lot while talking to me about this. Christine was forced to stay back at the mountain province and endure the living there  since her mother and father need to find means for their family’s needs, to pay-off debts and for Christine’s continuous medical treatment. I cannot narrate everything here but if you wish to know more of our baby acrobat Christine-She is called “ Baby Acrobat “ by the doctors and nurses there since her bones are too soft that she can easily put her legs around her neck and more.

I am a blogger before and now a Public School Teacher , my Aunt Melinda just hoped that I can share Christine’s story to people who definitely have healthy and generous heart in the online community.
