Venancio Puda, 52, known to his friends as an easy Guy is an average Father supporting a family will go anywhere just to earn a daily living. Everything is suppose to be well until in 2014 his health was taken over by Diabetes which he was not able to support by Insulin injection due to lack of money.

Over the next months, he's diabetes has gotten worst and his body has become too fragile in recovering from other forms of diseases including wound infections. He had undergone several surgeries out of infected wounds that he finds hard to recuperate from. The infections lingers still, due to lack of money to have it attended properly.

In late 2014, matters became worst than expected and he's no longer having only problem with diabetes and Infections but also he had complications and developed a Chronic Kidney Disease - this means that his kidneys are damaged and can’t filter blood the way they should. It is “chronic” because the damage to his kidneys happens slowly over a long period of time, and the damage can cause wastes to build up in his body that can also cause other health problems.

This kind of kidney disease leads him to take Hemodialysis. While this is so, the kidney's condition gets worse over time as it is eventually leading to a kidney failure. The damage to his kidneys causes scars and is already permanent.

There are only 2 solutions in his situation, either he get a Dialysis or get a Kidney Transplant from a matching donor.

Venancio (or Benny) needs to undergo hemodialysis 2 times per week. His family has no regular income and as previously expressed, Benny has been taking care of bringing-in food into the table when he feels a little better, His dialysis session costs roughly $65 USD including his transportation expense from and to the nearest clinic/hospital. This means a weekly dialysis would cost him $130 USD to keep his body a little better. Venancio's family has gone into different NGOs, and Government Units to ask for assistance in order to sustain his medication BUT not everything would work well... some will take time to process... and some documents will still have to be submitted, which are to be collated from different sources that would also mean another costs for Benny. Even he can get a support from an NGO or a Government Unit, that's only a fraction of the cost for the dialysis. Moreover, dialysis schedules should be followed accordingly, otherwise it can be detrimental to the patients condition.

Venancio has been suffering a lot, not only from the disease itself but also from the troubles of raising money to fund his medication. He's appealing to you now, good-hearted capable people to extend something at least to lighten up the heaviness in his heart and daily struggle. a $5 USD donation can pay for his obtaining a Medical Abstract from the hospital (as medical abstract are also being paid before he can obtain one) - He uses the medical abstract from time to time as a pre-requisite in Red Cross office.

a $6 USD donation can pay for his back and forth transportation during one session.

a $15-20 USD donation can pay for his dializer filter (a filtration part being installed in a dialysis machine and being replaced/disposed in every session completion.

a $62 USD donation can pay for 1-session of his dialysis in full... and so on.
