Life-Saving Surgery for Michael Belila

I'm posting this message for my aunt and uncle see their message below.

My name is Larry Belila and along with my wife Sonia Quizon Belila we are asking for your prayers and financial support for our son Michael (26). Two years ago he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney disease and currently is on dialysis twice a week so we have made many sacrifices in our lives to provide him with the best care that we can afford in hopes of returning him to his previous quality of life. Before he fell ill he was a vibrant and loving person who shared his love and joy for life with anyone that he came across. We are so proud that he has grown up to be an intelligent, loving, family oriented man who just wants to bring happiness to his family and friends. Our faith in God has not wavered throughout this tumultuous time and we believe that He will continue to guide us in our journey. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our finances so we now must put our faith in the kindness of strangers to help us overcome our next obstacle.

Two days ago he had difficulty breathing and lost consciousness; he remained unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital. He got admitted at N.L. Villa Memorial Medical Center and is currently in the ICU fighting for his life. They found out that there is fluid in his heart which needs to be removed via surgery. Once the surgery is performed he will still face a long road to recovery, but we know our boy is going to fight this battle with every last breath in his body. As of right now we have incurred over 200K Peso ($5000 US) hospital bill and we don’t know where else to turn for help because we have found out that our insurance will not cover most of the charges. Our savings have already been dried up and many nights we are going to bed hungry to save every last Peso to give our boy another chance at life.

We are a hard working family that must now put aside our pride, knowing that we can never repay the generosity of those that choose to assist us. Any amount that you can spare to provide will go directly toward the hospital bill, however even if you can not donate but have taken the time to read this, please share our message as we hope to inspire others in the way that our Michael has been an inspiration to us.
