life saving surgery

Chewie was having vague symptoms (vomiting, malaise, weakness, confusion, increased thirst and urination) for a few months without any answers. Finally some blood work pointed us in the direction of a liver abnormality.

Yesterday it was confirmed after a sedated ultrasound that Chewie has a large shunting blood vessel in his liver. While I’m thrilled to have an answer, I was told he will need to have surgery to correct this abnormality so his liver can start working and filtering the toxins from his blood stream which is making him so sick. The surgery will be brutal on his body and will cost approximately 10,000 to 12,000.

Ive already spent almost 6000 dollars getting answers and having tests done to confirm this diagnosis. I hate to ask for help, but any little bit will help my buddy live. He is only 2, and has the sweetest little disposition. Thanks in advance.
