Life happens!

In short, I have recently become a single mom who returned to work from Mat leave on December 1st. Balancing motherhood and being a preschool teacher is tough but I stay strong. I am looking for funding to help pay rent, utilities, and child care costs which I have been struggling to pay on my own. It’s unfortunate and disappointing when people abandon their responsibilities because of personal issues ie. depression.

While living with the father of my child, I started to notice impulsive behaviours and consistent mood swings. When he quit his job without giving notice and without any regard or concern to how our bills would get paid, that was the last straw for me. Like my add title says, “ life happens”. I recently had to borrow $5000 from my mother and a lender to help with rent and bill payments, but I just keep falling behind since I don’t make enough income. I applied for social assistance but apparently I make more than their cut-off amount

Please help me provide for my amazing 15 month old son as we are already in arrears.
