Life Flight

Krystal is a 31 year old married mother of 4 diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Disease , a very rare life threatening disease .She also has airborne allergies to Latex , Scents ( perfumes,colognes,body washes,deodorants,hand sanitizer,alcohol wipes , and certain foods peanut butter,black pepper,pineapple )  as well as at least 80 plus food allergies and some allergies to certain meds. Due to the Mast Cell Disease these allergies can change at any given time ..Though they are more triggers than allergies they are still just as deadly .These cause anaphylactic shock that have required many many hospital trips, and stays in the I.C.U.She has stopped breatheing and heart has stopped beating and has been life flighted from one hospital to another .Over the past 9 years we have been to every Dr. and Specialist in Maine and the last 3 years to multiple specialists in Boston at Brigham and Womens Hospital every month.She has now been referred to The Cancer Care Center in Minneapolis MN. However the only way to get her there and home safely from here in Maine is on an angel med flight ( that has a critical care nurse and paramedic on board in a sterile pressurized environment with everything needed on board for critical care in case something were to happen during the flight ) Our insurances will not cover the cost of the flight .Driving or flying on a Public Airline there is out of the question due to the enormous amount of medical situations that could arise resulting in quite possibly Death  .This website was done in the hopes that we can raise the money to pay for the expenses needed for this trip . The air ambulance alone for round trip is 34,700 dollars . This trip is needed for her to see the specialist in order to explore new treatments that will at the very least help her to stay alive .Please donate ...Thankyou
