Life Coaching for a better future

I am a Life Coach based in Cape Town, South Africa. For many years we have had this ongoing situation where there are a lot of low income schools, with learners who lack proper parental structure, often one or both parents are passed away or just not playing a role in their children's lives. They have to deal with poor social structures inside their communities and just a complete lack of support. This led to a generation whom have limited expectations for their future and hence the future of this beautiful country. When you meet with head masters or guidance teachers of these schools, it is always a hopeless situation that is sketched. These teachers work very hard and are very committed to uplifting their communities by uplifting the learners, but they are only human and can only do so much. They are always grateful for help. In the beginning of this year I felt that as a Christian I received the calling to go and coach at these schools completely free of charge. Quickly after offering this service to schools, I got 240 children allocated to me from 3 different schools. They are waiting desperately for me to coach them. I offered to find sponsorship to pay for my expenses and some sort of salary for myself - just enough to be able to keep on doing what I believe I should do. I've tried local sponsors and it takes a tremendous amount of time to get approval for these kind of projects. In the meantime these children are suffering. Last week a Grade 10 learner (from the age group that I am suppose to start coaching) got stabbed at the school and passed away on the school grounds during break time by another Grade 11 learner. These children need to see there are a better future and they need to see it desperately. I am asking the world to please assist with this plight. This is a pilot project, but if I can gather the funding, this will make the world of difference to these children and then they can make a difference to the world. The project run over 6 months and the success will be measured in academic performance as well as reports from their teachers regarding their behavior. Sponsors who choose to do so, can request information and progress reports as well as feedback from the children will be sent to you on a regular basis.
