Life Beat Festival 2022 – Health & Wellbeing

Ahla Fawda is raising funds to secure health services & promotions for the Lebanese community through a festival aimed at promoting public health & wellbeing. Life Beat Festival 2022 is inspired by the statement "a heart beat is a sign of life". HEALTH with a dose of MUSIC & FUN become the essence of this festival.

Why is Ahla Fawda conducting this festival?
With the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, one of the major sectors that has been hit hard is the health sector. A visit to the doctor by an individual can be equivalent to his/her one-month salary. Medication is scarce, or has increased immensely in price. Mental health has become a major national issue and not enough resources are available to assist. The Life Beat Festival will aim to provide the opportunity for any individual to have their medical concerns/questions/interests addressed. This festival will be providing health consultations and checkups, counseling in mental health issues, alternative and traditional medicines, beauty care, and yoga/exercise classes, most of which will be available at affordable prices or free of charge!
Ahla Fawda's important work in the contribution to the area of health assistance is elaborated through this festival.

Life Beat Festival 2022 will take place in Beirut, reviving Hamra street, to help regain its identity as a shopping & cultural hub encouraging foot traffic, tourism. It will allow small businesses to promote their products and services thereby supporting the economy. The festival also recreates a lively environment in the city, with all the entertainment that offers a platform to support local artists.

Funds raised through this festival will support our "G.O.A.L." operation, which is a platform (founded with different partners) that assists the community with free medical services. The funds will also support Ahla Fawda's ongoing humanitarian operation, along with the organization's environmental projects.
