Life after loss of leg.

i am chukwuma sandra a youth corper doing my National youth service, i am trying to raise fund for my neighbor Emmanuel for his leg surgery.

Emmanuel lives in my neighborhood (Ebonyi state Nigeria) with a bad leg, in the morning he goes out to beg for alms to feed, I got curios and wanted to know what happened to him, I sat with him where he begs and asked to know how he lost his leg, he told me he was a taxi driver and on that unfortunate day his car broke down and he boarded another to go get his car fixed on his way he was involved in a fatal accident he was lucky to have survived but his leg was badly affected there was no money for proper treatment and his leg was infected and he lost it, there was nobody to help him because he has just his mum who is very old he had no other option than to result to begging. I couldn't help but weep and he said to me ”dont cry maybe this is what God wants for me" and I said to him this is not God's plan for your life for his plans for his children are that of good and not of evil.

He has to go through surgery and get an artificial leg, as a youth corper the best I could do was give him food and wasnt happy I couldn't help him more than that, I wanted to help so bad that I started checking online to see how we could raise funds and I came across gogetfunding.com.
