Liezl’s UTCT Sponsorship

I would like to introduce you to my sister, Liezl Swanepoel.

For years she has been proving herself as an excellent runner, but this year she found her true talent - trail running. She has an excellent coach who pushes her to her limits, but she also has an incomparable amount of perseverance and drive. This has lead to her making podium for every single race she’s done this year and more often than not, walking away with first place.

So why am I telling you all this?

In November she is (if everything falls into place now) taking part in the Ultra-trail Cape Town - UTCT Special Edition - an intense 50km race across Table Mountain National Park. Her entry fee is paid for and she’ll be able to stay with friends in Cape Town, but add the two COVID-19 tests, a return plane ticket and a couple of essentials that form part of the race’s compulsory kit and suddenly this becomes quite an expensive endeavour and she has no sponsors.

This brings me to my plea - if you own a company or if you’re a friend and you have as much faith in her as I do, sponsor/donate a few dollars. Remember, she has no sponsors yet, so we can brand her from top to bottom if needed. The only thing she insists on is running in her own shoes, which she already broke in. Other than that, if you would like your name on someone’s shirt or forehead or butt, consider sponsoring her.

I’ve got faith that she’s gonna win this thing and she’s not going to be satisfied unless she makes podium, so it’s a solid investment, I promise!!!!
