As President of the National Writers Association, I undertook a Presidential Project to build libraries in rural villages:
- 4 X 12-meter containers joined together to form one structure with enough ventilation for all-weather
- 3 X 3-meter office
- 3 X 3-meter computer area
- 12 X 3-meter study area with steal tables
- Bookshelves for a minimum of 5 000 books
- Tile or wooden flooring
- 3000 books for a start
- Two paid staff members for the first year while building capacity for community self-funding project
- 10% for the Project Management Team (Project by Project contract)
Funding requested is for three pilot projects.
