LGBTIQ+ persons are crying for help during COVID 19

As queer changer makers we took it upon our selves to help LGBTIQ+ persons who are in need during this pandemic. We don't have any resources and we not an NGO, we are concerned individuals from the grassroots.

Lockdown has been a very tough space for LGBTIQ+ persons in our country.

Some are forced to spend quarantine with the very same people who raped or abused them when they were young, some are stuck in families who are homophobic, transphobic In cases where they are hiding food and illtreating them, some are stuck in situations where they make a home out of anywhere, where they can put their heads at.

No shelters for LGBTIQ+ Persons in Our country and We as Queer Change Makers are crying for help.

Many Queer individuals go to bed with an empty stomach during these tough times, others even housed themselves in informal homes they've made for themselves, with no much resources but We assist one another by housing each other. Some resulted to creating safe homes in their areas. We receive about 10 to 20 inboxes a day from people who are in need asking for food, cash for rentals, toiletries and eletricity tokens and donations for clothes We've already helped more 100 LGBTIQ+ individuals during this pandamic while we dont have resources or salaries as well, we became beggars for our brothers and sisters so that they can sleep with something in their stomach at night now we asking for you to help us with anything you can so that we continue helping people who are not privileged enough to have basic essentials.
