Hi everyone!

Me (Abbie) and my partner Lily were recently hit with a large financial crisis. A teenager was speeding on a hill and hit our car as we were turning, she didn’t see us and has claimed she is not responsible. This has cost us thousands in trying to get a new car and paying our insurance. We have moved recently within the past three months, I finally got my serving job right when Lily lost her job due to no transportation (she had an IT contract.)

We’re a young LGBT couple (both lesbians and Lily is transgender) just starting our lives and we have a large amount of mental health issues (major depression, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, and we both have untreated ADHD). Lily also is autistic and it makes it extremely hard for her to find a job suitable for her. Right now we’re struggling to pay for rent, food, and necessary medication. We cannot afford to lose our apartment as that would break us mentally and financially (yet again.) We’ve been rationing food as well.

We’re unable to take out loans due to no credit history so I have taken to the internet for help. If you have the means, any donations would be appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story, and if you donate we are forever grateful. Our goal, once we’re stable, is to give back to the community as much as we can. We hope we can achieve that sooner rather than later.
