Campaign Story
- Jacqueline Gatchalian Rojas-Bartolome, 36 years old, married with two kids had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia over a month ago. She is to start with her chemotherapy very soon. Previously, she had been considered first with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Refractory Anemia with Excessive Blasts. Even as a Police Officer married to a soldier the couple hardly afford the high cost of treatment of her condition especially after the costly treatment of the previously considered condition. The family's resources had been drained especially when Jacqueline needs regular blood transfusion every month with several units of blood. Her children are sent to a public school in their local community - Lara Jane is entering grade 7 and Jude will be in grade 4. I, as her eldest sister, appeal for an assistance from your generous hearts for the cost of her treatment and perhaps for a possible bone marrow transplant in the future which we hope would not be needed anymore. Jacqueline had been a fighter as she struggles hard out of her condition. A hardworking Police officer and a loving wife and mother reaches out to your generous hearts.

Hi Miss Aileen White! I am overwhelmed with your response to our call for financial assistance on Jacqui’s treatment. Words are not enough to express my gratitude, especially because this is the second time you have come to backed up my campaign. I was almost giving up on it for it seems to be funded at a very slow rate. Thank you so much! Words are not enough to express our gratefulness!

Update posted by Angeline Cuizon at 02:51 pmIt had been sad that my sister Jacqueline's latest bone marrow analysis done on June 29 did not give any good result after an induction chemotherapy last month. It has been heartbreaking but we remain hopeful knowing that the Almighty is by our side in this fight. As a result,. . . . .

The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of those depths. I saw your picture and it says you are beautiful and I discern that you are also beautiful inside. Get well soon as I believe our Almighty God will heal you in Jesus Christ of Nazareth name.
