LEUKAEMIA TREATMENT FUNDING FOR 2 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER

PLEASE HELP ,WE NEED TO RAISE 10 MILION YEN TO SAVE MY 2 years OLD DAUGHTER FROM LEUKAEMIA

On 14 January my daughter, who was 18 months old at the time, was diagnosed with AML M7 myeloid leukaemia.

Since that time, for more than 220 days, my daughter has suffered, and continues to suffer, from many infections with no possibility of leaving hospital.

As a result, she has not been able to complete all stages of chemotherapy and has only been able to complete three out of five courses.

She now has to undergo surgery to correct an infected parotid, but for the difficulty of the place where the infection is in, we might have to move to Tokyo, because, it seems like here in Okinawa she cannot get the right treatment.

She also has a terrible fungal infection , still present in her lungs , which is terribly resistant to medicines, and has been going on already for more than three months now….

The difficulty of the region interested, it is the main reason why all her chemotherapy treatment could not be finished, and is also the reason why, we still need to wait so long to be able to do any other treatment….

Other than that, as my daughter is half Westerner and half Asian (Italian and Japanese), it has been difficult to find a suitable donor for her here in Japan.

It seems like We now need to look in the international bone marrow bank registry to find a suitable donor…..

At first we thought that around 3 million yen would be enough to cover her treatment, has for the fact that here in Okinawa they, at first, told us that around 1 million yen would be needed for international bone morrow donor, only to find out , after few days,that it would take 6 million yen only to find a donor internationally…

Now we have finally realised that approximately 10, or more ,million yen will be needed to cover all the expenses….as for the fact that we do not know how long is this situation going to take to finally end….

So we have already raised around 2.5 million yen until now, which is amazing …. we would never thought such a thing would happen… and we have no words to thank you enough…. unfortunately we do need more help from now on because within a maximum of 3 months (hopefully everything goes smoothly), she will have to start treatment… and we urgently need to find more funds to be able to even think to start her transplant journey….
