Radio Khaltsha 97.1 fm is a newly established radio station within Khayelitsha aimed at empowering the youth of South Africa. Our frequency currently covers the whole of Khayelitsha, Mfuleni and some sections of delft; due to ICASA dispute we were forced to operate via internet to keep our listeners updated. As we are growing we would like to build relationships with big and local businesses and organization around our townships.

This is how we act for change in the community of Khayelitsha .As Radio Khaltsha we make it our responsibility to support various projects by the small allowance we get from jobs and that makes a positive change in the lives of our listeners.

We’ve been doing our utmost best to raise funds to contribute to ICASA’s Licensing application fee but no providence. Currently we are seeking financial assistance from our potential sponsors or donors to help us regain our radio frequency as before end of March 2020, we are required to submit an application form for Broadcasting License accompanied by a non-refundable application fee which is R3 657.00.
