Ardee was working as a caregiver when he had an acute stroke because of a blocked carotid artery. He had severe brain swelling, and a craniectomy had to be performed to save his life. Many people, his family and families of his former patients, helped him shoulder the expenses during those times.

He lost control of the left side of his body and had several seizures after. He experienced many emotional ups and downs while continuously working hard to regain what he could. With the support of loved ones and God's grace, he can now walk slowly with a cane. Now, he thinks the biggest roadblock to his further recovery is the unprotected part of his head, the right side from his forehead up to the back of his head and to the side under his right ear. He is now seeking clearance from his doctor for a cranioplasty.

We all hope that this operation will help him make the best out of life, to focus not on the things he lost and might not get back, but on the beautiful things he can still do with his family and loved ones. Help us to make this possible. Thank you for everyone's time, donations, and prayers. May God bless you!

The bone removed from Ardee's skull was taken to his doctor for the modelling of his synthetic skull. A deposit of Php80,000 was paid for the bone cement and titanium plates. Thank you to his family for pooling the fund.
