Lets Save Amazon Rainforest

Amazon rainforest is perhaps world's greatest ecological jewel that has served as incomparable storehouse of biodiversity in the 1990s. However, much of the Amazon rain forest has now been converted to cattle pastures and soybeans fields, while fire has wiped out most part of this gigantic swath of jungle. This ceaseless deforestation of a huge storehouse of carbon, the very carbon that heats up the planet when released into atmosphere, will definitely increase global warming. Therefore tearing down Amazon rainforest must be stopped and we are raising this fund to enable us further our campaign to stop deforestation, reforest and protect the Amazon rainforest. We will use the contributions to help communities, organizations and policy makers in Brazil, which now ranks fourth in the world in carbon emissions largely due to deforestation, to create awareness campaign to protect the Amazon rainforest.
