To family, friends, lovers and to you who's reading this;

Like any other ordinary life story is the story of my Sister - Margarete Baluyot. We were raised lovingly by our parents. Everything is just perfectly fine - she is just 28 years old, full of dreams and just starting to create her career as a Doctor. She is a Post Graduate Intern in a government hospital where she serves wholeheartedly for free. She also serve in several medical mission in some remote areas.

Until last April 7, 2019, when she was admitted in Manila East Medical Center for vomiting, having on/off fever, chills, severe headache, and body weakness. Our young doctor went through several laboratory and blood tests. She had also undergone through ultrasound, 2D echo and cranial CT scan, for she was diagnosed with Malaria - Plasmodium Falciparum Malaria.

She was treated for malaria and got discharged April 12,2019. But she was readmitted April 13, 2019 because of high grade fever and headache. She underwent MRI and was diagnosed with brainstem infarct, inflammation of the brain and hydrocephalus and was admitted to ICU for close monitoring. April 16, 2019 she underwent surgical operation (tube ventricolostomy) and still in the ICU for further examination and observation.

As of today April 24,2019 she will undergo Ventriculo peritoneal shunt at 5pm. After the operation she will be still in the ICU for close monitoring of the brainstem Infarct.

In behalf of Dr. Baluyot and her family, we are appealing to your naturally generous kind heart to aid and support the continuous treatment of our beloved Margarete.
