Let’s rebuild a house for a family in Congo. Their home was destroyed by the Volcano in May 2021

On Saturday, May 22nd after nearly 20 years of silence, Mount Nyiragongo erupted destroying homes, and livelihood in Congo's eastern city of Goma; a city of 2 million Congolese souls just south of the volcano.

Thousands of our Congolese brethren lost their homes, farms, and livelihood.

Many families, women, and children are still currently living in tents exposed to the elements😥

iheartafricadotorg is on the ground, rebuilding houses for displaced brethren and I’d like us to help as a collective & pool our resources together to build one house🏡

🎯This is my ask:

It cost about 5K to build a house for one family. It is very daunting to try to raise this money alone but if we come together as a collective it’s achievable.

No amount is too little or too big. It's the thought and the love that counts. This could be you or me, we cannot turn away.

As a contributing group, we will be able to follow up for updates on our building and directly with the benefitting family.

The iheartafrica team will build, furnish the house, and purchase new farmland nearby for farming.

As a new sustainable model of charity, they will contract each sister to work on the farm, in order to pay for the house.

The yield generated from the farm will pay the families a wage and will also feed people in the camps.

Let's pool our resources together and achieve something beautiful.
