LET’S PUT A ROOF ON

Moorton Heights Primary School is situated in Chatsworth, Durban, South Africa. Many of our learners cannot afford to pay school fees as they come from lower socioeconomic households. The school is barely able to meet the monthly running expenses and cannot afford any form of upgrade to the institution.

Often our learners stand under direct sun in excess of 30 degrees Celsius during assembly and other school events. Many experience sunburn or faint. As an educator at this school, I appeal for donations, on behalf of the school, to cover the cost of installing a roof over the area. It is hoped that this area will eventually be bricked up (when funds permit) to convert it into a school hall.
