Let’s put a roof on this house!

To host our guests and give them their privacy and a community space we are building a house out of a natural structure: clay and straw. Inspired by Tom Rijven. Also this helps us to grow as a community and host future artists in residence, voluntary service programms and host events.

The walls are there and it needs a roof!!

What do we need to accomplish this in material and time:

Time

• Man hours for designing, calculating, deciding on the project
• Organisation hours

Material

• Round pine 14 pieces of 6 m x 20 cm
• EPDM 11m x 9,15m x 1,8mm thick.
• Geotextil 1.2 for the greenroof
• 10 litres of contact glue
• Planks of 66m2 including overhang
• Safety gear for climbing the roof
• Tools including spare tools
