Who we are

Green Road NGO arose out of two reasons:

1. The need to promote defensive driving principles related to alarming statistics on road accidents in Europe and their consequences;

2. The desire to turn the general attention to the overall environmental effects of car use and its negative impact.

We believe in road safety and eco mobility through implementing innovative and long lasting solutions, for our development and the generations to come.

Our mission: We are dedicated to road safety and we inspire people to adopt defensive driving and an environmental friendly behavior.

What we want

An online defensive driving platform free for everybody! It's that simple!

But to achieve this, we need the funds to bring it to life. That is why we are asking for your help...

Would you now know how to brake faster... or how to avoid the collision... or even better: how to recognize a potential danger in traffic and act accordingly?

The Green Road defensive driving course will teach you and thousands of other people the causes of road accidents and ways to eliminate them.

Ask yourself a few questions:

Do I know how to prepare myself and the automobile for a long trip?

Do I know how to recognize fatigue?

Do I know which position at the wheel gives me the most control over the car?

Do I know how to position my hands on the steering wheel and how important this is when I'm at risk?

Do I know how to control the car if it skids?

Do I know how to brake effectively?

There are many more questions you can ask yourself and if the answer is YES to all, the you do not need a defensive driving course.

But be honest and if there is only one question with NO as the answer then you need this platform more than you know it !

Most of the research is done but we want to insert this data into an interactive and easy to use platform.

We want this platform to consist in multiple sessions and we want to test your knowledge at the end of every session. This way you will have the information and the skills to avoid any risky situation that may lead to collision, injury or even worse.
