Lets plant 1000 tree Forest for my 40th Birthday!

Hello Everyone!

As you know I'll be turning 40 on the 4th July and nothing will make me happier than if you gift me a few trees so we can grow a forest together!

The planting of 1 tree costs $3.22. The challenge is to plant 1000 native trees in the Philippine woods in the Sierra Madre mountain range. The trees will be planted by Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED) a non-profit and non-governmental organization in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Los Banos on land that has been granted by the government of the Philippines. FEED's aim is to reforest over 9,000 hectares indigenous Philippine woods, generating sustainable agro-forestry livelihood opportunities for the local communities.

Thanks to Ecomatcher the facilitator we will be able to have full visibility of the status of the trees we plant together so that hopefully in our lifetime we can be proud of having planted a forest.
