Teeth has great importance in human life

There are many people, especially children, who suffer from malnutrition and lack of proper speech because of their damaged teeth. In addition to teeth importance in strengthening personality and increasing self-confidence, damaged teeth often cause depression and mood swings.

The absence of any mechanism or method to raise awareness of many of health and medical issues of early-age children in school and society prompted us to reflect on this issue

Therefore, our project aims to target children between the ages of 3 and 12 years with a clear awareness program for oral and dental education, as this is the most acceptable age for learning and maintaining healthy habits. In addition, the default age for dental change in children is between 6 and 12 years old, at this point most oral problems begin. In addition, the visit of the dentist is scary for most children, even some adults and older people. This makes it a major cause for many to neglect their oral and dental health. That confirmed by the results of questionnaires conducted through social networking sites, to reach the conclusion that: "The fear barrier between the child and the dentist must be broken"

The project is based on a number of dental students and dentists and the majority of the project team members are young volunteers in organizations working with children

One of the most important outputs of the project is the creation of a medical team with practical and scientific experience in the field of oral and dental awareness, capable of dealing with children and launching interactive awareness campaigns in the community, obtaining children who are aware of oral and dental health, and a medical community involved in interactive dissemination.

What are the specific objectives of the project?1- 30 dentists who have full oral health care information and are able to deal with children and communicate information interactively

2- Reach to 5000 children is aware of oral health and is able to implement the steps to maintain oral health in his working life

Project activities

1- Communicate and agree with a dentist to prepare a scientific material about oral and dental awareness

.2- Communicate and agree with a skills trainer to continue to train volunteers on child-dealing skills.

3- Designing an awareness platform that can be given to children (the same information is in the curriculum of a 3-year-old child aged 6 years and 7 to 12 years old but in different interactive ways)

4- Attracting volunteers.

5- Book a training area and schedule a volunteer training

.6- Design appropriate interactive activities.

7- Visit child-friendly centers (children's villages, schools, etc.) to propose and agree to implement the project through them.

8- Start campaigns within these centers and implement interactive activities.
