Campaign Story
Chavdar Byala Slatina (Bulgaria) is a non-profit association. Founded on 10/23/2015, by 10 founders whose main activity is to promote the study and improvement of Judo sport in Byala Slatina . The Association carries out its activity on the following principles - equality between all, collective evaluation and resolution of all issues, decisions are made with the consent and unanimity. Our goal is for all children to be able to exercise and have a place to fulfill their dreams.
The area where the Sport Club is located is one of the poorest in Bulgaria. The parents of the children don't have much financial opportunity because many of them are unemployed or low paid. Our idea is to buy Kimonos for all children, renovate the sports hall and buy a bus to drive the kids to competitions. In this way the cost for the parents will be much less and our children will be even more competitive on the tatami.
Currently there are 70 children from the town of Byala Slatina, Popica, Vranyak and Borovan.
