Let’s Keep The Doll House from closing

Hello Doll House friends and family ....

We are reaching out and asking for help to keep our family business a-float during these difficult times were facing today. Because of COVID 19 and social distancing, we have been forced to close the doors to our family business until further notice. This has been a challenging experience for myself, our team of stylists as well as my daughters, as we all depend on the business to take care of our home life. As you may know a hair stylists income is based on services provide to the clients we solicit to in our community. If there are no clients to service, there is no income for us to sustain our home life as well as our business.

Being the business owner I am responsible for making sure the foundation of the business is intact at all times. With no income it has been impossible to complete that task. My heart breaks for my team. I feel responsible for their financial suffering because I have taken away their livelihood to put food on the table and to keep their rent paid in their home. I am afraid that if we don’t receive help right away, we may need to close our doors permanently.

Building our company was a huge challenge because we had every odd against us. But through blood sweat and tears, we did it!! We raised the money, we built walls, we painted walls and we even glittered our 1200 Sqft floor ourselves.. We built our family dream with our bare hands.. We built a beautiful boutique style salon with a down home feel. Every person who walks through our doors feels at peace and at ease. Our customers love our classy yet sheik down to earth environment.

And to loose it all because we are required to social distance will devastate us all. We are unable to meet the need required to take care of our day to day responsibilities for the business, as well as our home, because we are forced to keep our doors closed.

But even while the doors are closed, we are atlll required to pay bills, which is why we are asking for support. Please help us keep our business going during this season so that we may help provide financial support to our team who have no income while trying to take care of their children as well as sustain their future in business as we are.

As a team we do more than just hair. We fellowship, we have bible study, we have events and we mentor our young woman to believe in themselves and to accomplish goals that may be perceived as impossible. We are able to encourage them because we became the example we want them to see. We would be loosing more than just our business, we would be loosing a community of support that we all give to one another.

So we are humbly asking for your help to keep our business afloat and our doors open after the crisis is over. We whole heartedly appreciate everyone who has supported us in the past, those who are willing to support us today and in the future. God bless you all ...
