Let´s help Yuber

I have never been in a situation like I’m about to describe: Yuber is a French poodle dog who has been a member of our family for almost 8 years. Sadly, he suffered an accident at home when we were playing together. At this day, everything was normal but suddenly he started to walking lame and during days, he was getting worse.

I took him to the vet but I never thought our suffering as a family would start that day: the first doctor told us that Yuber got an infection caused by a fungus, so he prescribed him an antifungals cream. Yuber wasn’t getting better and every day, he walked lame. We took him to another vet, who took him an x-ray of its left elbow and arm. At this point, we felt certain peace. This vet prescribed him very expensive pills named: Canni-tabs because he told us our doggy was suffering osteoarthritis and thus, taking these kind of pills would have a better quality of life. What a surprise!, we see that Yuber wasn’t getting better. Our beloved doggy was worse, he didn’t want to eat and he was crying all the time.

I was watching the news when I heard about a specialized vet medical centre located in Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia. This beautiful place with a heart is called CES CVZ. I took my all savings to pay the bills regarding Yuber´s treatment. We took our doggy as fast we could. The vet checked Yuber´s evolution, behavior and referred pain. He found through an x-ray that Yuber got a left shoulder luxation which is affecting its left wrist and toes. This pain has been developing itself for about 5 months without right treatment. It´s incredible and frustrating that second vet could not find what CES CVZ vet could. CES CVZ has been a blessing for us and Yuber has started treatment right away. Until now, we know that Yuber does require a shoulder surgery, orthopedics and therapies. All the laboratory and pre-surgery tests has been developing. As a family, we are gathered praying for our doggy and we hope Yuber gets well soon.
