Hello, we are a team of young people who want to save the world in our own way. We want to open our soup restaurant that never use plastic, nylon and never wash dishes. The restaurant will be called Eco Soup City.
After years in the tourism industry, we saw that there was a huge problem, and it was called WASTE. The world has produced over 9 billion tons of plastic since the 1950s. And we think there is no need for more. Day and night we were looking for a solution that can combine our passion for delicious food and at the same time to be ecological. And we decided to use utensils and dishes that are biodegradable and can also be eaten. Yes, you read it well, they can be EATEN.
We plan to open our first restaurant in the beautiful city of Varna. A seaside resort in Bulgaria that has over 1,200 years of history, golden beaches and unique scenery. It is worth seeing in every season of the year. As the residents of the city say, whoever did not see Varna, did not live.
We have start-up capital for renovations at the site we have chosen, but it is not enough and we need your SUPPORT.
My name is Ivan Dimitrov and I have been working in the hotel industry for 15 years, having toured the world. I have worked in the USA, Dubai, Cyprus and of course my wonderful country Bulgaria. With me in this project is the Head Chef Tihomir Stoyanov, who has 20 years of experience in preparing great dishes, soups and last but not least is the best baker I know.
Every team needs a woman's opinion, we especially appreciate the female intuition, so with us is Stefani Dimitrova. Which, in fact, had the "EUREKA" moment, and figured out how we would save the world. She has a unique look at the interior design of our future restaurant and is the brain of our project.
The EDIBLE dishes we will use are produced by an innovative Polish company, a pioneer in this activity, see them in the pictures. They degrade for 30 days and are made of wheat. Just for comparison, a plastic bowl never degrades.
Our menu is currently being prepared, with over 20 different international soups, 10 cooked dishes and the world's finest hand made bread. Our idea is to open this first restaurant, and not stop there, but to offer a franchise management model so that we can spread the idea of less plastic in the world faster.
