US$100.00raised of $25,000.00 goal goal
This campaign is for Roniel Ocampo Medrano, an 8-year old boy with cerebral palsy. He badly needs our help to pay for his medical expenses like medication, therapy, routine check up and a wheelchair.
After four days of waiting, my prayer was answered and I got the information I needed. I instantly made an overseas call to the Philippines. I was able to talk to Julie (Roniel's mom). What I found out during that brief 15-minute call broke my heart even more.
Roniel developed sepsis a day after he was born. He is blind, cannot chew his food and he can’t speak, but according to his mother, he can hear and he can understand what is going on around him. His father left them when Roniel was only six months. Julie could not find a regular job because she needs to take of care of Roniel. Roniel’s family survives on his stepfather’s very low unstable income.
According to his mom, if they don't have enough money, Roniel only eats oatmeal which is not enough to provide him with the nutrients he needs.
Last year, Roniel’s hospital trips became very frequent and the family is now buried in debt.
Friends, Roniel needs our help. The money you will donate will be used to buy him a wheelchair, pay for his medical expenses, for his therapy (he badly needs therapy) and for his regular routine medical check-ups .
His doctor said Roniel has only seven years to live.
Let us give Roniel a chance to live longer or at least to give him the chance to live a relatively comfortable life. I know he is fighting. I know he is a strong boy. He needs our help. Let us make him feel that we care and that he is loved.
Roniel and I may not be related by blood but somehow I just know in my heart, Roniel is family and he needs my help.
Your donation will be sent to his mother (Julie Ann Ocampo) less the gogetfunding fees.
(Contact number of Mrs. Julie Ann Ocampo is available upon request)
Thank you very much for your generosity and God bless you.
