Campaign Story
Hello everyone, my friend Jason was once bubbly, funny and full of energy, and managed to soar great heights in his career and work. Tragically, he was struck with a rare disease that was completely unexpected.
Jason was diagnosed with Tumefactive demyelinating disease with multiple Scelorosis, an auto-immune disease which is non-curable. In addition, it also means he suffers from multiple symptoms and severe side effects. Unfortunately, no cure exists for this disease and the progression and symptoms are different for everyone. You can find more detailed information about this disease via this link (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28619436).
The doctors in Davao Doctors Hospital said Jason's case was unique and progressive, and this was the most recent case that has occurred in the Philippines. Receiving treatment early with this illness is important, which focuses on minimizing the effects of the attacks, modifying the course of the disease, and managing the symptoms. Right now, his Doctor's suggestion is to maintain his medication, drug therapies and intravenous steroids to avoid further damage and prevent any further complications
This is where we need your help!
Jason's medication, hospitalization and wide range of needs keeps increasing as he continues to fight to be better. Any amount would be a huge help for our friend who needs it the most.
Right now, we are raising a total of 150,000.00 PHP to aid the growing medical finances that Jason and his family are facing.
We aim to collect this amount before the year ends to assist his family, especially with the upcoming joyful season.
We are knocking on your hearts to help us raise this amount for our friend and for his ongoing recovery. Your contribution is already a big help but I know your prayers will also be helpful.
Let's help our friend, Jason! Let's bring his fun and smile back.
