Let’s help our dear Luna recover!

Hello there everybody!
Thanks for checking out our campaign to help our dearest dog recover from surgery.
We will be forever grateful for any help you can provide us!

Luna is our 5 year old dog, who has showered our family with the most sincere love ever since we rescued her from the street. We have always taken good care of her, vaccines and vet appointments were always up to date.
However, a little more than a year ago, our family fell into a quite difficult time economy-wise. Almost simultaneously the two supporting members lost their jobs and ever since they have struggled to be able to get a new one.
Because of that we have found ourselves practically living off of the aid disinterestedly provided by our maternal family. Such aid, however, is only enough for us to cover the very basic needs of the household (food and basic services).

That is why we come to you today! On November the 11th, due to an unfortunate encounter with another dog, our poor Luna ended up with a broken leg. After having her X-rays done the vet decided she would need surgery to have a pin inserted on the bone in order for it to heal properly -the bone was completely broken in two parts and it had moved form its place-.

As a family, we could not simply let her to heal on her own, so we used our savings to pay for the procedure (which was $190) and, luckily, it was a succes! So she is now recovering in our home.

Nonetheless, her recovery is still nowhere to be done, as she is required to have another minor surgery for the removal of the pin (on January the 15th, if everything goes fine) as well a many revisions from her vet during this time, let alone the medicines and medical care items she will be needing in the process. So this is were your selfless help comes in game!

We are asking you for help to pay for:

• The new pin removal and the X-rays she will need prior ($48)
• Transportation, for the procedure is done in another city and we own no car ($38)
• Medicines ($20)
• Revisions and the replacement of the bandage ($40)
• Blood tests ($60)

With a total of $206 needed, the rest of the money would be used to buy her food and to cover any inconvenient that might appear in the way of her recovery.
