Let’s Help Mommy J against the Big C

Mommy Juliet Villaflor is a mother of 5 and a granny to 7 grandchildren. She is a single mother most of her life.

She is a mommy to everybody, and she is fondly called mommy Juliet by all her younger friends. Even all her nephews and nieces call her mommy. She likes to help people and if there is one thing that we know about her is that is she is generous and kind.

Last January 2020 before the pandemic hits us, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. That was the hardest blow for our family, we haven't seen the looming financial problems just yet as what we only wanted that time was for our mother to get better. With God's blessings, and family and friend's generosity, we were able to cope with the expenses, but they can only do so much. The medication that comes after, the maintenance and the chemo meds proves to be financially exhausting.

Now with this pandemic, we are finding the costs becoming extremely difficult. The medication alone is too much for us to bear. With her cancer progressing, additional medication and maintenance are needed. With these treatment, we are praying that she will be soon in remission.

Re-MISSION. For a Cancer patient, being in remission is a good sign, but we tend to look at it as God's way of giving them another mission to fulfill something more here on earth. Starting over by providing them with the gift of healing, so long as we all believe.

We are knocking in to your hearts to give us a chance to prolong my mother’s life, as we cannot imagine how life is without her. Just the thought of it breaks our heart. My mother and us, her children, went through a lot in the past and I must say we were able to get through it stronger than ever, but with this disease that we are currently facing, we have found ourselves slowly crumbling, and falling apart, but still with hope, so much hope that everything will be better, and God will provide through different people's donation.

We firmly believe that there is still a miracle waiting to happen, for now it is yet to be realized. My faith led me to believe that this is the path that He had laid out for us, and the greatest miracle is in the end.

For now all we can do is hope, pray and ask for everyone’s help in this battle.
