Campaign Story
On the night of May 29, 2019, Michelle was rushed to the ER due to difficulty in breathing. She was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse . MVP occurs when the leaflets of the mitral valve bulge (prolapse) into the heart's left upper chamber (left atrium) like a parachute during the heart's contraction.
She is now scheduled to have her open heart surgery tomorrow 6/3/2019.
Despite the helping hands of her good friends and family, we still need to raise funds to support Michelle during the operation as well as after.
As her coworker and friend, I know that Michelle is a smart, kind and passionate young woman. She loves reading and she planned to go back to school before all of these went down. We would love to see her recover and get back to normal as she has so much potential and she is full of life. She has dreams that we would love her to reach.
