Campaign Story
Our friend and high school batch mate (PIT Batch 2004), Kevin Bumatay, is fighting for his life at Adventist Medical Center Manila. He suffered from aneurysm and his life is at 50/50.
Kevin is living alone in an apartment in Manila, away from his Mother who is in Palompon, Leyte. Last January 27 (Sunday), his landlady and house mates were forced to open his unit after 24 hours since they've seen Kevin. As they entered, they saw him lying down near the bathroom, unconscious and his face covered with blood. They immediately rushed him to the hospital and discovered that Kevin suffered from aneurysm since Saturday dawn and is in very critical condition. BP was already flat and doctors were just able to revive him. Kevin has already undergo operation to remove a big blood clot in his brain and thank God it was successful. His vitals are being closely monitored and Doctors have seen responses from Kevin. He is trying to move and open his eyes. In short, he is fighting really hard to survive.
However, bills are already more than his health insurance can accommodate. His mother is also ill and just earning a living by selling cooked dish. We are knocking your kindest heart to help Kevin fight for his life! Please let us help Kevin live longer than 31 years! Please let us spare some amount to cover his bills. May God bless you!
