When I asked my 8 year old daughter what she wanted for Christmas her response was she wanted a kitten. We have already taken in 3 cats and have no more room to adopt another cat. So my daughter had thought of a new idea! Instead of getting a kitten, why not help out kittens and other animals in need during the cold winter season. She has decided to raise money to help out our local Humane Society. The animal shelter she picked is 100% volunteer runned and every dollar donated goes directly into the care and operations of animals. They do not receive any governement funding and rely on donations and support from their community. I am so impressed that my daughter has decided to try and raise money to make a difference. For an 8 year old girl this small change means the world to her! She is too young to volunteer at a humane society so for her raising money and giving a donation to them is a big step in helping out! So for all you animal lovers out there, lets help an 8 year old reach her goal and help an animal in the process!!!! Your support and generosity is appreciated!
