Lets help Joel’s leg operation!

Uncle Joel was one of the premier make-up artists in the eighties here in Iloilo - having had the opportunity to work with Charlene Gonzales and Ruffa Gutierrez before. He loved his work and was passionate about it, he met many people and had lots of friends.

Times have changed and Uncle Joel had to step back to the more modern way of styling, but people know that when you are looking to be made beautiful by a classic, he is the one who can do the job. He always was the one who made me and my cousins beautiful and adored each one of us equally.

He has diabetes and has recently got a leg infection that has now gone up the upper portion of his body. The doctor wanted to take off the affected leg so that the bacteria will not reoccur again in the future. Currently, requests for blood donors are needed as well as money to get by daily in the hospital as well as to buy medicines that may not be readily available in the hospital.

We are all helping out as a family, but additional money from outside sources can definitely go a long way to help this amazing man recover so he can start making beautiful women in Iloilo even more beautiful.
