Let’s Help Him Walk Again

This is to help us for the surgery and recovery expenses of my brother, Raymart who had fractured bones on his right leg due to a vehicular accident.

Night of July 14, 2019 While riding his motorcycle and on his way to bring home his girlfriend, along Ortigas Ext, near Palmera VI subdivision, they encountered loose cable wires hanging on the middle of the road and was unable to avoid it. Said wires entangled to his handle bars causing the motorcycle to outbalanced and steer to the right and fell to the gutter.

The accident resulted to complete spiral fracture of his Tibia and Fibula and some minor wounds on his right leg.

Raymart was rushed to Taytay Emergency and later transferred to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.

Raymart was advised by the Orthopedic Doctor at ARMMC to take antibiotics for 7 days & pain killers if necessary and to rest for at least a month while only on a molding cast to see if he can then be subject to rehabilitation.

Within the first 2 weeks after the accident, my brother experienced severe pain and discomfort on his right leg that prompted us to consult to a different orthopedic specialist at Unciano Medical Center Antipolo. That's when we found out that he badly needed to undergo surgery to enable him to walk/stand again.

According to Dr. Miranda, it'll be difficult for Raymart to recover without having the operation as 90% of the person's body weight is being supported by the Tibia and connects the knee and the ankle bones.

We are required to buy the needed implants in order to proceed with the surgery but it was too expensive.

My brother works for a BPO Company in QC and only on his 3rd month when the accident happened. Unfortunately, he is not yet entitled of the company's HMO and also not yet qualified to avail any of the benefits from SSS and Philhealth.
