Let’s help George with his surgery expenses.

George Haleplis. is a 34 years old type 1 diabetic patient since his early 20's. He lives with his beloved wife Vicky and is a wonderful father of a little girl, Konstantina . George's illness evolved over the last 5 years into diabetic neuropathy and his situation declined rapidly in the last 2 years. He is unable to walk without aid, he is on constant medication (insulin detemir and aspart) and recently (08/2019) has done a successful double surgery on his diabetic throbbing foot with the financial help of some good people. Now he needs again our help to undergo an endoscopic laser surgery to heal his pilonidal disease that has reached a crucial stage.Greek public hospitals do not provide such fine laser treatments, only the classic open surgery solution which inevitably leads to open wounds that cannot heal due to diabetes. Thus George and his family can only rely on individual doctors to perform the laser surgery. Public health insurance policy does not apply in these situations and since George runs his household on a low income aid provided by the state ( less than 400 € /month) you can easily imagine how hard is to concentrate the needed amount of money for the surgery. We urge you to help us reach our goal so that George can recover quickly and take care of his family again.
