Hello, my name is Erika and today I need your help to save my mom.
More than 1 year ago my mother was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the endometrium with metastases in the abdominal wall.
He has undergone more than 20 chemotherapy sessions with different oncological drugs to help reduce the lesions as much as possible and thus prevent it from spreading to other organs.
Currently, he is in a new cycle of chemotherapy, but it has been complicated since he has presented abundant bleeding that has been moderately controlled with tranexamic acid and vitamin K, drugs that help improve blood circulation and stop bleeding, however , my mother has been taking anticoagulants since the beginning of the first chemotherapy sessions since she presented thrombophlebitis, so at this moment it is working against her, since having such liquid blood increases the bleeding that can trigger a anemia but if you stop taking anticoagulants the risk of developing thrombi is extremely high.
Neither of the two situations are good and you cannot stop the chemotherapies, therefore, it is suggested to carry out 4 radiotherapy sessions to somehow cauterize the area, reduce the lesion and thus be able to continue with the chemotherapies.
Urgently, she must perform a pelvic-abdominal tomography with radiotherapy protocol to evaluate her organs and thus determine the maximum amount of radiation she can receive, the cost is USD $300 and I do not have the resources to pay for it.
I pay for almost everything my mom needs month after month, the reality is that everything related to this pathology is extremely expensive. Monthly expenses exceed USD$300 to USD$400, this includes payment for weekly routine and special exams, purchase of medications to treat side effects, purchase of oncology medications, taxi from home to the clinic, etc.
Not to mention that we still have a debt in the clinic that exceeds USD $6,000 and we do not yet know the budget for the radiotherapy sessions. We have gone to different state entities to request help, the response so far has been null.
It is impossible for me to cover his treatment and all the necessary expenses on my own, if I had the financial possibilities, I would not see the need to request help.
I ask you with all my heart and it would be wonderful to have your support to be able to help my mom at this time; your financial contribution and/or spreading this campaign will make it possible for my mom to win the battle against cancer, no matter the value of your donation, every grain of sand makes a mountain.
I know that together we can help my mom win the battle against cancer!
