Let's help Ammar family to start a new life together. Ammar is Palestinian, he was born in Iraq and lives in Iraq. Ammar left Iraq in 2009 after the deterioration of the situation in Iraq.

He went to Syria to register with the United Nations, but after Syria's problems he heard from a friend that he could go to Thailand and apply to the United Nations in Thailand. He got the visa for few months then he travelled to Thailand and registered with the United Nation for Refugees.

After the first interview with United Nations, he was told that he had to wait in queue and the United Nations could not protect him.

When his residence permit is expired by the Thai authorities and because there is no agreement between the UN and the Thai government like many countries, Ammar decided to stay because he had no country or place to return to.

In the meantime, Ammar knew a girl who worked with him and got married to her. Two years later, the UN called him to inform him in order to come to make resettlement interview, Ammar actually went to the interview and he informed the investigator that he is married now and has a family.

The investigator has told him that "you have been resettled in New Zealand, but you cannot take your family with you". Because Ammar registered as a single at the UN. But the investigator told him" if you got accepted by New Zealand government you can apply for family reunion visa and your family can stay with you.

Ammar was arrested on his way to home and went to the prison until the end of processing his file with the United Nations and he waited almost a year.

Here's the good news that he will travel to New Zealand in a few weeks and already traveled to New Zealand

Ammar began a happy new life and was preparing to reunion his wife but the sad news that he cannot reunite his wife now and he needs to save up to 45 thousand dollars to support his wife for 13 months until obtaining the residence because she is not considered a refugee as him.

Ammar decided to return to Thailand with his wife and scarify everything and all his suffering in prison. As he couldn't live without his wife one minute so he returned to Thailand and began working for 17 hours a day to collect travel costs, visa fees and the cost of a 13-month stay for his wife

Ammar and his wife got a kid but that kid got "Septicemia" disease, and they have to spend all money for treating their kid. In order to save their kid and family, and now they both work more than 14 hours a day to collect money and then travel to New Zealand and live together " Ammar, his wife and their kid" and start happy new life.

Let's try to help them and support them. A little support from us means so much for them.
