Let’s feed orphan Children from Venezuela

Venezuela is a country immersed in a sea of difficulties. Even amidst the turmoil, there are institutions who work hard everyday to assist, feed and raise children of all ages, procuring them with whatever they can get to at least cover their basic needs. The current political and sociological situation, including food & medicine shortages, constant blackouts of the electrical service, and non-stop economical inflation, keeps these institutions on the brink of collapse, leaving the caretakers and staff helpless against the onslaught of famine & disease affecting the children under their care, children abandoned by their parents in such numbers that these places can't cope with the expenses.

The goal is to reach $27.000 to help them buy food and supplies, to fight against the country's hyperinflation which makes providing 3 meals a day a very difficult endeavour.

These orphanages, which become for most of these children permanent homes, are still running (some of them barely) only thanks to private donations, mostly done by anonymous donors. We are creating this campaign to help feed these children.

Some of the institutions we are helping directly are: Casa Hogar Alegre, Hogarín, Casa Hogar Permanente Virgen María, Casa Hogar Mi Refugio.

UPDATE: we have received some great donations offline and we are currently working very hard, another 2 institutions are going to be added, they are small but with 35 orphan children between the ages 5-12.
