Most of the cloths we wear in west are manufactured in Asian countries, many women workers in the factories are often abused, both physically and financially although there are laws but most of these poor women don’t go to police or report the incident in the fear they may lose their job or may suffer further if they speak up.

We are starting this campaign to establish an NGO dedicated to these women in need, “Welfare for Women workers in Garment industry” (WWWGI) the NGO would help these women in need. We would get the justice, if they are not happy in the current factory we will get the work in the other affiliated organisations where WWWGI has direct access to all women workers without any restrictions.

We all want cheap cloths but how do you think the retailers reduce the prices? By cutting down their margins? No they source cheap, putting pressure on manufacturing companies to supply at low prices and these manufacturing units pass this to the workers, pressure to work for less money, more productivity and longer number of hours. As a consumer don’t you think we have our responsibility here to support these workers? Especially female workers?

If you agree pls donate any amount so we could fund the entire project and can bring a change!!! All the updates on the progress will posted to you separately, including how each penny is spent with video feed of the women who got benefited from this.
